Merry X’mas

December 25, 2009

It’s the Christmas season.  As much as I love  the things associated with Christmas, I am not really a big fan of shopping and the “I Want!” monster.  I’ve had way too much of shopping and whining.  I need more love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness and self-control – the fruits or gifts of the Spirit.

Hence, for the month of December, Merry Christmas and I hope that the new year brings you more of the special gifts of God.

Love?

December 17, 2009

Was it love, or just something that reminded me of something that felt a lot like, but wasn’t, love?Just friends, friends then, until the end. You know I still pretend, just friends. Take a step and come out of the shade. I can tell you’re no longer afraid. I’m helpless without your warming smile. Take a step and come out in the sun. I can tell it’s already begun. I’m helpless without your warming smile.

Was it love, I think it was but I’m far from sure. I’d never felt that way before, was it love?Just friends, am I a fool to be asking for, a fool to wish that we could be more than friends? Take a step and come out of the shade. I can tell you’re no longer afraid. I’m helpless without your warming smile. Take a step and come out here in the sun. I can tell it’s already begun. I’m helpless without you, helpless without you, helpless without your warming smile. Your warming smile….

Deny, deny, deny.

October 19, 2009

Denial. One word which chained to egoistic. Some people tend to deny a lot, about their feelings, about the truth, about everything. But, denying too much just won’t bring you anywhere. Denial is not some river in Egypt. For someone to keep being in denial, they do have a lot to say/show. Why? Some things are just right in front of us, but we deny it. We push them away. Afraid? Too scared to take a leap? Then what’s the point of asking for one then? But life is not a story to be told. We tend to run away from things which we can’t solve. The weakness of homosaps. And we wake up from it, and it’s just another ordinary day. Sometimes, I think I’m too strange for this ordinary world.

Smallville Season 1:

Lana: If you really like someone, you accept every part of them. But you can’t do that until they’re willing to share every part with you.
Clark: I think people like Bryon…he keeps a part of himself hidden so he doesn’t scare people away.
Lana: If you want to get close to someone, you have to take that risk.
Clark: What if the risk is too big to take?
Lana: Then you might miss out on something that could be pretty amazing.
